Tube & Shell
Tube & Shell is best suited for higher-pressure applications. The system consists of a shell (large tube/vessel) with one or more smaller tubes/vessels inside. One fluid runs through the tubes, and another fluid flows over the tubes (through the shell) to transfer heat between the two fluids. Tube and Shell systems can be designed and manufactured in Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel and are sized per application, flow rate and temperature range.
